Any of you like Heavy Metal? >Favorite band >Favorite song >Ever been to a concert?
>>6 I do, but it's not comfy >Judas Priest >The Sentinel >Yes
>>7 Nothing is comfier than resting on your couch drinking a beer while listening to your Ozzy Osbourne records.
>Any of you like Heavy Metal? Yes, mostly classic stuff, I'm not an expert or anything >Favorite band Judas Priest Probably >Favorite song Painkiller >Ever been to a concert? Only small bands cause I live in bumfuck nowhere >>7 I think metal can be comfy, stuff like Dio or Iron Maiden is pretty nice, even some black metal. Of course I wouldn't listen to stuff like Demolition Hammer if I wanted to get comfy.
>>6 >Favorite band I don't have favorite bands, but I have favorite albums in no order: 1. Fear Factory - Demanufacture (1995) 2. Metallica - Master of Puppets 3. Dio - live album Intermission. 4. Metallica - Ride the Lightning 5. Megadeth - Greatest Hits >Favorite song Hangar 18 (Megadeth), Battery (Metallica), and PissChrist (Fear Factory) I think are my all time favorite metal songs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTLMK_GCAMU >Ever been to a concert? Not a metal concert but I am not in favor of live music in general except perhaps for classical music. The Dio live above album is the only metal recording I consider better than the studio recordings of the songs. I think it is more hard rock than metal to be honest. Remarkable how metal has failed to last or replicate like its great 80's run. It is strongly arguable that Master of Puppets, now almost 35 years old, is still the greatest metal album.
>>226 Nice choices. Only one i don't know of is Fear Factory. It sounds good. Also i think the only sub-genre of metal that has lasted is Power Metal. Other than that is pretty much gone. I liked Hardwired though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97NXoOydDw4
