/tikilounge/ is a laissez-faire board with an Oceanic theme :^)
Everything can be discussed, but preferred topics include:

>Polynesian, Micronesian and Melanesian:

>Tribal Anthropology in general

>Tiki culture:

>>Hawaii shirts
>>Exotica (Les Baxter, Arthur Lyman, Martin Denny, etc.)
>>famous tikiboos (Gauguin, Elvis Presley, etc.)
>>Western tiki art
>>tropical cocktails

>>lounge music
>>lounge culture

Although everything can be discussed, threads that seem more appropriate for other boards will be closed. :^)
Global rules still apply.

If you have any suggestions regarding the rules, the board, banners, flags, etc. feel free to post them here :^)

/tikilounge/ for the Infinity Cup 2020! Mahu 11/22/2020 (Sun) 21:19:56 No. 971 [Reply]
Hey there, We're in the process of organizing a new edition of The Infinity Cup or /icup/ for short, a virtual soccer tournament pitching various boards and imageboards against each other, and we're trying to find out if you guys wanted to reserve a spot in the final tournament. Since your team has never played in previous iterations, we don't have either your roster, your kits or logos, so the only thing we ask of you if you want to join is the following: 1) Create a roster of 16 to 23 players, which can be named as you see fit; 2) Create a suitable logo for your board, it can be in any shape you want; 3) Create at the very least one kit for your team, which can be done by using this flat one as a template; There's no maximum on allowed kits, but the norm is to give a Home kit, an Away kit and a Goalkeeper kit at minimum; 4) Making sure your team has the correct number of medals (1 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze), which you can see from the wiki page; 5) Making a thread over at https://anon.cafe/icup/ with your team's pledge, you just need to make a new thread telling us that your board wants in on the cup. Optionally) Assign player cards, roles and special strategies to your players, which can be referenced from the following wiki articles: http://infinitycup.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Player_Cards http://infinitycup.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Rules http://infinitycup.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Team_Strategies Optionally2) Change roster names and/or give us 3D models to use for your team, or new kits or whatever contribution you'd like. I hope to see you guys on the pitch!

I had a stop over in Fiji on my way to the USA.

I ended up fucking a native after many drinks and Kava.

I didn't use protection, I don't want a native nigglete from my seed.

I'm pretty sure war-prisoners, criminals, people who have broken taboos, etc. etc. had a priority, but punishment was not the main motive.
There was just this sadist kick that Fijians got out of cannibalism that is difficult to understand in today's context.

They would even casually chew on raw pieces of human skin or human ears as chewing tobacco. :^)

Festivals always were good reasons to eat lots of people. Whenever a canoe was built there was one.
Although, the festival about a chieftain's canoe being finished was infinitely more spectacular and gruesome than when a regular guy's canoe was finished.

According to traveler Alfred St. Johnston a man had to be slain for the laying of its keel, a fresh man was killed for every new timber that was added, more dead men were used as rollers to aid its passage to the sea, and then fresh men were killed to wash the canoe with blood. :^)

I think Fijians were somewhat on the same level as Aztecs when it comes to gruesomeness, although the Aztecs seemed to hold more of a religious motive behind it. (^:

It somewhat reminds me of the stuff that went on in Auschwitz and Soviet Gulags personally. :^)
>>209 Fijians aren't pure niggers given that they left Africa a long time ago. I say embrace the Brazilian form of Eugenics (impregnate as many natives as you can) nya~
>>238 >>241 Gruesome really, sometimes genocide is justified, even Zeus who liked fucking everything interesting told his followers to kill the cannibals nya~

She did it. She won a delegate. We aren't far from making the oval office the oval lounge
>>950 >oval lounge I remember in preschool i was taught that ovals were one of the main shapes like squares, circles or diamonds. Not a important or intresting shape but a commonly used shape. But then one day…. no more ovals. No one talked about them, no one used them. I realised this a few days ago and when i thought about it, i couldn't even think of anything that uses ovals anymore, except the oval office and eggs thats it. Even weirder is when there is something thats oval people instead of saying that its an oval they usually prefer to say "its egg shaped." Why who knows. Well thats the end of my story, Anyone else remember ovals.
>>951 All I can think of is the blue oval. Damn after ovals the ellipse took over in geometry and mathematics, they taught us lies.

Aloha mahu and welcome back! That last eruption was quite a catastrophe but we persevered. So kick back, relax, grab yourself a cocktail, and enjoy your stay. If you're ever feeling in a tiki mood, why not help create some banners? Mahalo!

Just lying in bed, listening to a obscure hawaiian radio station, feeling comfy at the fact that some guy might be relaxing in a bamboo shack on a beach in an island listening to the same tunes while stargazing. That's comfy.

I've been many times, it's beautiful. There are very touristy areas, just do your research about the different islands and their regions.
