I tried the editing software that came with the PSP camera. It was about as simple as you'd expect, having a bunch of visual filters you could apply to photos or videos. You could also add text and sound effects to videos, so it was kind of like shittier Windows Movie Maker.
I've considered buying a Dreamcast camera and not done it yet, because it's relatively expensive for something so useless, but I've tried the software that comes with it. It includes some simplified derivative of Photoshop that can export photos in very low quality to a memory card where they'll take tons of space.
Something interesting about it is the video calling feature appears to directly call the phone number of the other person with a Dreamcast, so you could theoretically still use it if you knew another poor bastard with a Dreamcast camera.
